2010 TYGA will not accept any entries, including day of entries, after the
closing date.

Format:
Individual 18-hole stroke play (11 & under
divisions will play 9-holes of modified stableford points,
listed below).
Eligibility:
TYGA members who
are 8-18 years of age as of June 15, 2010 and have not started
college.
Divisions:
Boys’14-15, Boys’ 16-18, Boys’ 12-13, Girls’ 12-13, Girls’ 14-18
and 11 & under (9 holes only). The 11 & under division
will be split into a boys' and a girls' division if there are 2
players in each division.

Starting times:
Tee times will
begin at 8 am off #1 and #10. Starting times and pairings will
be available on June 8, 2010.
Electronic Measuring Devices:
Players may use
an approved range finder during this event.
Caddies:
Players must
walk at all times, but may use a caddy. Caddies must be 18
years of age or younger (no exceptions) and must walk at all
times.
11 & under modified stableford points:
triple bogey or higher = 1pt, double bogey = 2 pts, bogey =
3pts, par = 4pts, birdie = 5pts, eagle = 6pts, double eagle =
7pts. When a player reaches triple bogey, they are asked to
pick up and begin playing on the next hole.
Prizes:
Trophies are
awarded to the winner, runner-up and second
runner-up in each division.
Withdrawals:
If you can not
compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by
contacting the TYGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of
the tournament. If you do not withdraw properly, you are
considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA
events for 1 year.
Refunds: A $10
administrative fee will be charged to all withdrawals.

Range fees:
Coharie CC
will charge each competitor $4 for driving range use. Players
are asked to pay range fee before teeing off.
Practice Round:
Practice rounds are not included in your entry fee, but Coharie
CC will allow practice rounds on any week day prior to the event at the rate of
$20. Players must call in advance to make practice round
starting time.
Pull carts:
Coharie CC
does allow pull carts and they may be used during the
competition.
Spectator Carts:
Spectator carts will be available at a rate of $15.12 per person.
All spectator carts must remain on the cart paths. Please see
club for additional rules and regulations.
Tour Championship:
Invitations for the Tour Championship will be extended to all division winners in each TYGA one day series event, the top
12 in the boys' 14-15 and boys' 16-18 division and the top 6 players on the TYGA
one day series points list in the other divisions.
The Tour Championship will be held at Sapona CC in Lexington,
NC on August 10-11, 2010.
Parent policy:
Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask
that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart
paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball.
