Player Information
Host
Professional: David Harris
Format: The championship is conducted at 36-hole stroke play.
Team and
individual competitions are run
concurrently. All players, regardless of
gender, will play from the white tees (approximately 5270
yards).
Each
team must return two individual 18-hole scores per day to
Qualify
for the team championship. If there are more than two players
on a team, the best two will be used for the team score each
day.
Team Entrants: Your team rosters are due by September
15th at the latest.
A
maximum of four players (if no girls are amongst the four, the
maximum is three) is allowed to play in the
competition. There will
be no substituting of players after play begins on September
24th.
Practice
Rounds: Practice
rounds were not included in the entry fee.
However,
Inn
GC will allow practice rounds at a rate of $14 (walking) per
player Monday – Friday when space is available. Players must call
in advance to schedule a practice round.
Prizes: Trophies
will be awarded to the championship team; all members
of the championship team, the individual boys' champion and
the
individual girls' champion. Any ties for these
positions will be broken
by an on-course playoff as soon as the need is
identified. Players
are responsible for making themselves available for any
playoff they
maybe involved in.
All-State
Awards: The top 6 in the boys’ division and
the top 6 in the girls’ division will
be award all-state middle school award for 2010.
Rules: USGA Rules will govern play.
Local rules will be distributed at the
starter's table. Use of tobacco products
by competitors is prohibited.
Each
competitor must walk and carry his or her own bag (pull carts
are allowed) during the stipulated round.
Caddies:
Caddies are NOT allowed.
Coaches: A
team may designate one person to act as a coach, and that coach
will be allowed to give advice between
the play of two holes only.
Each
individual may have one person designated as the coach.
Identification
tags will be issued and worn by each coach.
Spectator
carts: Spectator carts will be available at
a rate of $15 per person.
Carts
must remain on cart path at all time.

Course open for practice. Practice rounds
are available at $14 per player.
Coaches must call club to schedule
practice round.
Friday,
September 24th
First round. Tee times will begin at 8:00 am off #1 and #10 tees.
Lunch for players and team coaches after round 1.
Saturday,
September 25th
Final round. Tee times will run from 10:30 am - approx. 3:00 off #1
only.
