ELIGIBILITY RULE CHANGE

All members of a team must attend the same middle school. A middle school student is defined as a student who is in grades 6-8 during the current school year. A maximum of four players may represent a school. However, if no girls are on the team, that school is limited to three participants. Any number of girls may play for a school.  Home-schooled players and private school students and teams are allowed. Entries are subject to rejection at any time, including during the event, by the TYGA or the host club.  The reason for rejection may include unbecoming conduct.

FORMAT CHANGE

The championship is conducted at 36-holes of stroke play. All players, regardless of gender, will play from the same tees. Each team must return two individual 18-hole scores per day to qualify for the team championship. On-course playoffs to determine individual champion(s) and/or team champions will be used when the need is identified.  Players are responsible for making themselves available.
