Tournament Information

Entries open: September 6, 2006

Entry deadline: October 4, 2006

Divisions: Boys 14-18, boys 12-13, girls 12-14, girls 15-18 and 11 & under (9 holes only)

Number of players: 84 players.  The field for the boy's 14-18 and girl's 14-18 will be determined by the TYGA NC rankings as of September 1, 2006.  All other divisions will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.  Below are the estimated size of each division.

                                       Boys 14-18:  42 players

                                       Girls 14-18:  15 players

                                       Boys 12-13:  15 players

                                       Girls 12-13:  6 players

                                       11 and under :  6 players

Starting times: Saturday starting times will begin at 12:30 p.m. off #1 and #10

                             Sunday starting times will begin at 8:00 a.m. off #1 and #10

Entry Fees: $65

Electronic Measuring Devices:  Players may use an approved range finder that measures distance only during this event.

Caddies:  Players must walk at all times, but may use a caddy.  Caddies must be 18 years of age or younger (no exceptions) and must walk at all times.

Prizes: Trophies are awarded to each divisional winner.

Withdraws:  If you can not compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the TYGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament.  If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA events for 1 year.

Spectator Carts:  Spectator carts will be available at a rate of $20 per person.  All spectator carts must remain on the cart paths.  Please see club for additional rules and regulations.  Please identify yourself as playing in the tyga one day event.

Rankings:  This is a boys and girls NC junior rankings event that has been assigned a 4 multiplier.  

Parent policy:  Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren).  We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball.
