Eligibility: TYGA members who are 8-18 years of age as of April 29, 2006 and have not started college.

Entries open: March 27, 2006

Entry deadline: April 19, 2006

Format: Individual 18-hole stroke play (9-holes for 11 & under divisions).

Divisions: Boys 14-18, boys 12-13, girls 12-14, girls 15-18 and 11 & under (9 holes only)

Number of players: 72 (expanded on 4/2/2006)

Starting times: Tee times will begin at 11 am off the 1st tee.  Starting times and pairings will be available on April 22, 2006. 

Entry Fees: $30 per person (includes range fees on day of tournament).

Electronic Measuring Devices:  Players may use an approved range finder during this event.

Caddies:  Players must walk at all times, but may use a caddy.  Caddies must be 18 years of age or younger (no exceptions) and must walk at all times.

Prizes: Trophies are awarded to each divisional winner.

Withdraws:  If you can not compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the TYGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament.  If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA events for 1 year.

Practice Round: Call club for availability and cost (practice round not included in entry fee).

Rankings:  This is a boys and girls NC junior rankings event that has been assigned a 2 multiplier.  The top 10 in the boys 14-18 division and the top 5 in the girls divisions will be awarded rankings points.

Parent policy:  Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren).  We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball.

Tour Championship:  Invitations will be extended to the top 24 players in boys 14-18 age division, and the top 12 in the other divisions. The top players will be determined by performance in the 2006 TYGA one-day events. The Tour Championship will be held at River Run CC in Davidson, NC on August 14 & 15, 2006.
