2006 One-Day Tournament Series

Tournament Information

Entries open: May 3, 2006

Entry deadline: July 5, 2006

Divisions: Boys 14-18, boys 12-13, girls 12-14, girls 15-18 and 11 & under (9 holes only)

Number of players: 84

Starting times: Tee times will begin at 8 am off #1 and #10.  Starting times and pairings will be available on July 11, 2006. 

Entry Fees: $10

Electronic Measuring Devices:  Players may use an approved range finder during this event.

Caddies:  Players must walk at all times, but may use a caddy.  Caddies must be 18 years of age or younger (no exceptions) and must walk at all times.

Prizes: Trophies are awarded to each divisional winner.

Withdraws:  If you can not compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the TYGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament.  If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA events for 1 year.

Practice Round: Available on Monday July 17 for $10 per person.  Please call club to schedule tee time for practice round.

Spectator Carts:  Spectator carts will be available at a rate of $12 per person.  All spectator carts must remain on the cart paths.  Please see club for additional rules and regulations.  Please identify yourself as playing in the tyga one day event.

Rankings:  This is a boys and girls NC junior rankings event that has been assigned a 2 multiplier.

Parent policy:  Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren).  We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball.

Tour Championship:  Invitations will be extended to the top 24 players in boys 14-18 age division, and the top 12 in the other divisions. The top players will be determined by performance in the 2006 TYGA one-day events. The Tour Championship will be held at River Run CC in Davidson, NC on August 14 & 15, 2006.
