Date: September 29-30, 2006

Eligibility:  All team members must attend the same middle school. A middle school student is defined as a student who is in grades 6-8 of the current school year. A maximum of six players may represent a school, however, if no girls are on the team, that school is limited to five participants. Any number of girls may play for a school. Home-schooled players and private school students and teams are allowed.

Entry deadline:  September 15, 2006

Field size:  Open to the first 10 teams and first 25 individuals to return entry form to CGA office.

Format:  The championship is conducted at 36 holes of stroke play. All players, regardless of gender, will play from the same tees. Each team must return four individual 18 hole scores per day to qualify for the team championship.

Team Rosters:  Team rosters may change before round 1, but number of players used may not.  There will be on substitutions after the championship starts.

Rules note: The "double par" rule will not be allowed during the state championship.

Entry Fees: $150 per team  or $40 per individual

Prizes:  Trophies are awarded to the championship team, all members of the championship team, the individual boys' champion and the individual girls' champion.
