Camps and Academies

The Purpose of the Alabama Crimson Tide Golf Camp is to teach each camper the proper fundamentals through our quality golf instruction. Proper golf fundamentals are essential in the development of young golfers into college players and beyond. Head Alabama Men's Golf Coach, Jay Seawell, and his staff are dedicated to helping each camper reach their full playing potential. Assisting Coach Seawell on the camp staff are: Scott Limbaugh, assistant coach at University of Alabama; Jackie Seawell, Master P.G.A. Professional; Daniel Seawell, Director of Golf at Sage Valley Golf Club; Mic Potter, Head Alabama Women's Golf Coach. There will also be several Alabama golf team members assisting with the camp and teaching campers what it takes to play golf at the highest level. The camp takes place at the University of Alabama's, Jerry Pate Golf Center. The instruction, coaching staff, golf team members, and state of the art practice facility combine to make the Alabama Crimson Tide Golf Camp a truly rewarding and exciting experience for each and every camper.  More information

The Auburn Men's Golf Team will host the 2012 Auburn Tiger Golf Camp June 6-9, 2012. The camp is open to all male and female junior golfers age 10 through current high school senior. The Campbell University Golf School is designed to teach the fundamentals and to improve the technique of boys and girls ages 10-18.

An outstanding staff of Division I coaches, PGA professionals, and collegiate players provide individual instructions in all phases of the game. The individual teaching sessions are complimented by rounds of golf at Keith Hills Country Club.  Cost is $595.00 for returning students and $645.00 for new campers. The purpose of the Clemson Tiger Golf Academy is to provide each student with the very best instruction attention and develop it into a rewarding and fun experience. Fundamentals will be a must as each instructor is dedicated toward securing the future golfing goals of each student. We will also focus on “academic enhancement” skills which will include time management, study habits, and exactly what it takes for a “collegiate golfer”- academically. The students will get a firsthand experience from Clemson golf team members on exactly what it takes to make it on a top 10 golf team.   More information

The Duke Academy of Golf is a coed school for kids age 11 – 17.  There are two six-day long sessions:  June 16 – 21, and June 23 – 28.  Cost is $1325.00.   The Academy is golf intensive, including evening sessions, and the student to teacher ratio is 4:1.  Students will stay on Duke campus in the dormitories, and practice and play at the Duke Golf Club which is right on campus.  Lead instructors are PGA Professionals, Teaching Professionals, and/or College coaches.  Camp brochure

East Carolina University’s Head Women’s Golf Coach and PGA Professional, Kevin Williams offers two sessions of golf school for boys and girls of all ages and ability level which provide an opportunity to improve his/her golf game and have a great time in the process!  Within each session there is a Full Day Camp which runs from 9am to 4pm each day and a Mini-Day Camp which runs from 9am to 12pm.

Gator Golf Camp is an intensive instructional camp designed to meet the needs of junior golfers of all abilities. An outstanding curriculum of practice, play and fun is planned. Campers will participate in different kinds of competition according to skill level and age with each camper completing rotations covering every phase of the game. We have brought together a great staff of college golf coaches, PGA professionals, and 2011-12 University of Florida golf team members to guide the campers on their way to better golf. JT Golf Camps at Furman University offers your young golfer instruction on essential techniques including full swing, chipping, pitching and bunker play. In addition to learning how to play the game, golfers will get familiar with golf course rules, etiquette and safety. All camps will be directed by Jen Hanna and Todd Satterfield. Camp staff will include current players from the Furman men's and women's golf teams, teaching pros and several golf coaches from other universities.  More information

Junior Golfers are invited to Pinewild Country Club in storied Pinehurst, NC for fantastic golf instruction from Carolinas PGA Section Champion, Gus Ulrich, and his experienced Pinewild Golf Academy staff.  Nike campers have access to two championship 18 hole courses, one full-length par 3 course, three practice holes, short game complex, personalized video analysis by JC Video, and state-of-the-art club fitting/evaluation tools to analyze equipment.  Campers are housed nearby at Little River Golf Club & Resort with the staff and have access to the resort’s amenities. The Wolfpack Golf School, featuring North Carolina State University coaches and players, is entering it’s twenty-fourth year with the continuing purpose of promoting Junior golf and helping develop the talent of young golfers. An outstanding curriculum of practice, play and fun is planned.  Students will participate in different kinds of competition according to skill level and age with each student completing rotations which cover every phase of the game. At the Queens University of Charlotte Summer Golf Camp, we offer a traditional camp for children of all abilities. The purpose of the University of Richmond Spiders golf camp is to educate young people on the game of golf and improve their golf skills. We will focus on the fundamentals of grip, stance, swing, putting, chip-ping, pitching, bunker play and proper etiquette. On course situations will be addressed as well. The companionship of other players and the learning of sportsmanship and athletic values are additional benefits.

Coach Jerry Haas has announced camp dates for summer 2012.  Join Coach Haas and other head college golf coaches from around the country at Wake Forest University's 18-acre Arnold Palmer Golf Practice Facility, collegiate home of PGA talents such as Jay Haas, Scott Hoch, Curtis Strange, Billy Andrade, Bill Haas and Webb Simpson. The 2012 Cavalier Golf Camp will be held June 17-21 at the University of Virginia.  Campers must be between the ages of 10-18 and may be of all levels and abilities. Participants receive professional instruction from a qualified staff of collegiate coaches and players who also serve as camp counselors during the campers stay in the dorms at the University of Virginia. Campers are grouped by age and skill and receive intensive instruction each day in full swing, short game and putting. Other topics covered include course management, rules and etiquette. Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps is proud to offer an overnight golf camp at one of the most historic and respected academic institutions in the country. The College of William & Mary, located in quaint Williamsburg, Virginia, is the second oldest college in the United States.
